How You Can Help

Where your support actually goes, in plain terms.

My ongoing care isn't a one-time event — it's a routine I'll be living with indefinitely. Every three to four months, I travel to California for CT scans of my chest, MRIs of my abdomen and pelvis, follow-up appointments with my specialists, and the nerve blocks and ablation procedures that keep my chronic pain manageable. Beyond that, there are other health-related expenses that come up along the way and aren't fully covered.

None of this is optional, and none of it is cheap. Here's where your support actually goes:

  • Travel to California — flights, hotel stays, and a rental car for each round of quarterly imaging, specialist visits, and procedures
  • Other health-related costs — treatment and care not fully covered under my current plan
  • Day-to-day stability — the basics of living well while unable to work

My medical care itself is covered by insurance. What isn't covered is everything around it — and disability income alone falls well short of what it actually takes to cover travel, additional care, and daily living costs in the US.

If you can give, thank you — genuinely. If you can't, sharing my story with someone who might is worth just as much.
