Chest CT results from September 25, 2026
My chest computed tomography (CT) scan on September 25, 2026 showed stable pulmonary micronodules, with no new nodules. Continued monitoring and follow-up of these findings remain necessary.
The abdominal MRI performed that same day showed two new abdominal lesions, concerning for recurrent metastatic kidney cancer. My oncologist has referred me to Interventional Radiology to evaluate treatment options, taking into account the complexity of my case and my multiple prior abdominal surgeries.
New MRI Findings & Next Steps
My September 25 MRI showed two new abdominal lesions, concerning for recurrent metastatic kidney cancer. I am still awaiting my chest CT results and am concerned about these new findings. My oncologist has referred me to Interventional Radiology to evaluate treatment options, as my case is more complex becasuse of multiple prior abdominal surgeries.
Ongoing Pain Management
On September 21, I underwent suprascapular and interscalene nerve blocks for persistent pain in the area of my prior shoulder blade surgery. Unfortunately, they did not provide meaningful relief. I continue to deal with chronic pain while undergoing follow-up care.
